SAFEKEEP YOUR PHOTOS

How long do I have to download my images from my online gallery?

Your online gallery will expire after one year. However after that, I may not still have your photos on file after it's been delivered you. Because of this, please do not hold me accountable to give you another copy, if ever lost. As stated in your contract, I am not be obligated to keep your photos after they have been successfully delivered to you.

Please be sure to download, backup, and safekeep your photos!

Personally, I always like to save a backup of my own family sessions to my Dropbox ☺️

the BEST WAY TO CONTACT ME

You are a family, friend, or returning client. So why can’t you just text or DM when you want to book?

My texts are mixed with all of my personal texts and texts with current clients that I am text reminding and meeting with everyday. Because of this, it would be greatly appreciated if you refrain from texting me regarding our session if it DOES NOT require immediate attention.

Instead, please email or fill out my booking form here!

I keep allll my correspondence with all my clients in one place, which is in HoneyBook (a client relationship management system) which is through my email. This will ensure that your important business related messages, requests, and all of our planning doesn’t get missed.

If you do text over an inquiry, do not worry! I will just be asking for your email to move our conversation there.

MULTIPLE OUTFITS + LOCATIONS

You can’t choose between locations and outfits. Can you have it all?

Outfit changes are super common! I do not mind at all. It will just take time out of our scheduled time together. I may not be able to extend our session time if you took 10 or 15 minutes to change and readjust yourselves. Sometimes, I schedule sessions back to back and it would be unfair for my other clients who arrive early and on time for their session.. to be waiting and then lose sunlight for their session.

There is $50 add-on to add a second location. This does not affect or increase our shooting time together. Our standard session duration is 1 hour. So, we would do 30 minutes maximum at each location. You may add time for an additional cost. Otherwise, 1 hour at each location will be equal to booking 2 sessions.

NO HARSH PHOTOSHOPPING

You’re beautiful just the way you are.

Going back to my important note on wearing something you are confident in… If you have an insecurity about your arms, then wear an outfit with cute sleeves. If you love this fitted dress you have, consider wearing shapewear or reduce emphasizing anything you may be self-conscious about during our session. Also, think about the correct undergarments that go best with your outfit.

What we are about is documenting THIS season of life that you are in, whatever that looks like! All insecurities are really just in your own head. I can assure you that all I (and all others) see is just the beauty, love, and confidence that should be radiating out of the photos.. that literally all else doesn’t even matter!

I DO correct distracting blemishes and soften marks that don’t look to be permanent on the body. I do remove distractions from the background and foreground of the images. However, because there are so much photos at times, please don’t hesitate to ask me to work on a photo some more to remove something I may have missed… especially if you are large printing.

INQUIRIES: WHEN AND HOW TO BOOK

You’ve decided that you want to book! But how early is too early?

You may book a portrait session no more than 4 months in advance.

You may book your wedding no more than 1 year in advance.

Your booking is not secured until the retainer is paid and contract is signed. However, since a soft hold is placed with your inquiry, please kindly let us know if you have decided to move on or not.

This all would be greatly appreciated!

WHAT TO WEAR

You booked your session, picked your location, now what to wear?

We always recommend wearing natural colors, yet CONTRASTING from the location we will be shooting at. I don’t recommend blending into your background. Natural colors can be from blues, browns, tan, camel, rust, cream, navy, khaki, burgundy, greens, pastel colors, or any muted colors and patterns that are not too distracting or takes away from the real star of the show, which is YOU.

Prioritize wearing something you are all comfortable and most of all CONFIDENT in. If you feel self-conscious in your outfit, chances are that we can tell by the photos. Even worse, you will always remember how you felt when you look back on the photos as well. The only feelings that should come up in looking back on your photos is remembering all the love you have with one another or just plain how amazing you are in this season of life!

Instead of wearing matching patterns, you can showcase your personalities better by wearing your own outfits but matching in one color scheme or wearing complementary colors. You can base your outfit choices on the colors of one person’s set outfit and go from there!
